Exploring the Biodiversity of Indiana Fungi
Indiana Fungi is a continuation of IndianaMushrooms.Com, dedicated to documenting the fungal biodiversity found in the State of Indiana, USA. Focus is on South-Central Indiana (mainly hardwood forests)- collecting areas include Brown, Greene, Jackson, Morgan, Monroe, and Owen counties; Lake and Porter county, also.. However, many of these mushrooms can also be found across the Midwest, Northeast North America and beyond.
I hope to showcase the diversity of fungal forms, coloration, and habitats, and to provide images that highlight the identifying characteristics of the mushrooms of Indiana.
