Peziza griseorosea has been found in Eastern United States, Canada and Japan.





Depending on lighting, inner cup surface of Peziza griseorosea can be a pinkish/rosy hue or have purplish tones; sometimes brown to gray. Under-surface usually a paler version of the inner cup color. Under-surface somewhat roughened. From soil with woody debris, often near rotted logs, sometimes associated with moss. Summer.
