Inocybe is a large genus of mushrooms with over 1400 species. They are commonly known as fibercap mushrooms, due to the scaly or fibrillose texture of their caps. Found all over the world and grow in forest habitats where they form symbiotic relationships with trees. Attached gills. Brown spore print. Note odor.
