Pluteus chrysophlebius is fairly widespread throughout the world.
The yellow cap of Pluteus chrysophlebius is sometimes smooth, other times wrinkled with a brown center; finely lined margin. Slight umbo. Gills white when young, turning pink with age. Stem is smooth with yellow tones more so at the base, sometimes completely yellow. Found growing on wood. Pluteus admirabilis is a former name/synonym. The collection pictured here is rather small, can be larger, up to 5cm. Pinkish spore print. Commonly called the yellow deer mushroom. Can be found from May and into late summer.
